Our communities have suffered from toxic peaker plants polluting our air and planet for too long. 🏭 Asthma rates are sky-high in places like the South Bronx, Williamsburg, and Astoria because of fossil fuels. But we won a victory last year: all NY peaker plants will be shut down by 2030, and public renewables will power our future.

🚨 Now, Governor Hochul is stalling progress. To meet our climate goals and build a sustainable, affordable, and fair energy system by 2030, we need 15 gigawatts of renewable energy.
